The main area of our work is gas heating and renewable energy systems. We install gas condensing heating systems, service gas boilers, upgrade central heating controls to Honeywell S Plans, Super S plans, Honeywell Y Plans or advanced weather compensation systems. We install thermostatic radiator valves (TRV's), full central heating systems, electric boilers, combination boilers and wet underfloor heating. We also carry out chemical power flushing and change traditional vented central heating and hot water systems to modern un-vented systems.

Viessmann Vitodens Combi, System & Regular Boilers

Weather Compensation - Great for Gas Bills
With the increasing cost of fuel, boiler efficiency is becoming more and more important. The only way to improve the efficiency of a good quality condensing boiler is to add weather compensation controls.

The Vitodens gas boiler models are designed to work with optional weather compensation controls, to achieve additional fuel savings of up to 20% - meaning huge savings every year. For the boiler to operate in weather compensation mode, it needs to be connected to a small sensor on a north facing outside wall. When the temperature changes outside, the gas condensing boiler responds by increasing or decreasing the radiator temperature, to compensate. This proactive mechanism means that the boiler burns as much fuel as it needs – but no more – to achieve the desired room temperature. This keeps the return temperature as low as possible, meaning that the boiler can condense more, thus saving more fuel. People inside the building will experience a constant temperature and won’t even notice that the temperature outside has changed – but they will notice a significant reduction of their gas bills!

Lambda Pro Control
The Lambda Pro combustion controller works alongside the burner to constantly monitor the air to gas ratio. Instead of the gas mix remaining fixed from commissioning, the mix is automatically adjusted as required to maintain the correct ratio - in a similar way to the fuel management system in a car engine. The Lambda Pro is designed to work efficiently irrespective of the quality of the gas - a factor which will become more and more important as international gas supplies become less reliable. The control replaces the traditional gas valve control. The Lambda Pro is an integral component of the Vitodens 200-W, Vitodens 333-F and Vitodens 343-F.

InoX Radial Heat Exchanger
Stainless steel is, without doubt, the best material for primary heat exchangers in condensing boilers. One of the unique design features of all Vitodens boilers is the InoX Radial heat exchanger made from high grade stainless steel. The spiral wound tube, with rectangular profile is designed to ensure a laminar flow without a boundary layer for excellent heat transfer. This self-cleaning component is so reliable that it is GUARANTEED FOR 10 YEARS against corrosion.

Modulating pre-mix MatriX cylinder burner
Developed by Viessmann, the MatriX cylinder burner distributes heat cleanly and efficiently. New Vitodens Combi and System models are fitted with the MatriX cylinder burner, to achieve a modulation range of 1:3 and extremely low emissions. Nitrogen Oxide production is kept to a minimum as the gas burns almost without flame, thanks to the complete pre-mixing of air and gas. The secret of the MatriX cylinder burner is its stainless steel mesh. The metered air-gas mixture is evenly distributed and the fine mesh and large surface area ensure that the gas leaves the mesh at low velocity, resulting in hundreds of tiny flames rather than one big one.
