Heat from the Sun = Free Energy
High efficiency AMK Solac & Viessmann vacuum tube or evacuated tube solar heating systems for domestic solar hot water, solar assisted underfloor heating (UFH) and solar heated swimming pools.
Viessmann Vitosol 200-T Evacuated Tube Panels
Viessmann - Vitosol 200-T
The Sol-titanium coated absorbers collect a vast amount of solar energy and thereby ensures very high efficiency. The vacuum in the evacuated tubes guarantees very effective thermal insulation. There are minimal losses between the glass pipes and absorbers – and the solar collector is able to transform even a minimum of sunlight into available solar thermal heat. The vacuum tube panel looks identical to the 300-T model pictured below.
High energy yields
You can expect high energy yields for decades to come with Viessmann solar water heating collectors because they are designed for an exceptionally long service life. This is guaranteed by the use of high-grade, corrosion resistant materials, such as glass, aluminium, copper and stainless steel. The solar absorber is integral to the vacuum tube. This protects it from weather influences and contamination, and ensures a lasting energy utilisation. The type of vacuum tube used in this collector is a U tube.
Effective use of the Sun’s heat
High performance vacuum tube collector, which can be installed in almost any position. Individual pipes can be rotated for optimum alignment with the Sun. The Vitosol 200-T is a direct flow vacuum tube collector that is ideal for installations in any location, flat on roof or mounted flat on a wall or typical roof mounting. The new sleak design of the header casing enables the Vitosol 200-T to blend harmoniously into the overall appearance of the roof.

Viessmann Vitosol 300-T Vacuum Tube Panels
Viessmann Vitosol 300-T
The Vitosol 300-T solar heating high performance vacuum tube collector operates according to the proven heat pipe principle. It consequently offers particularly high operational reliability. One of the specific applications of the Vitosol 300-T solar panel is in systems with long phases of high solar irradiation without heat transfer, so called stagnation phases. The dry connection of the heat pipe tubes inside the header and the integral 150*C temperature limiter ensure particularly high operational reliability.
Heat pipe principle for high operational reliability
In heat pipe systems, the solar medium does not flow directly through the collector tube. Instead, a process medium, which circulates in the copper pipe below the absorber, evaporates when subjected to solar irradiation, and transfers the heat to the solar medium via a heat exchanger. This is also referred to as an In-direct solar vacuum tube.
Protection against overheating
The 150*C temperature limiter integrated into the Vitosol 300-T protects the system against overheating during longer idle periods.

AMK-Solac DRC-10 Vacuum Tube Panels
AMK collectors – the new standard in using solar thermal energy
AMK-SOLAC Systems AG pioneered the 360° solar absorber technology and developed the OPC10 and OPC15 high-performance solar collectors. AMK Solac recognised the advantages of three-dimensionally shaped evacuated tube absorbers more than ten years ago.
Diffuse Radiation Collector (DRC)
The new AMK Solac DRC solar thermal collector builds on the success of the OPC range. This time the solar panel does not come with a mirrored parabolic refector to the rear of the collector, instead a brilliant white reflector replaces it. This is the ultimate Diffuse Radiation Collector that disregards the out-dated mirrored reflector that degrades and reduces the output of the solar system.
Award Winning Technology
AMK-Solac Systems AG has over 15 years of experience in developing and producing evacuated tube collectors. AMK solar collectors are developed and produced in Switzerland. The quality is extremely high, as you would expect with the stringent European standards that these collectors have to live up to. Awarded with the gold medal at the Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva, Switzerland, this was the deserved result for the brilliant DRC, Diffuse Radiation Solar Collector.
Extra Large Absorber Surface Area
All AMK solar water heating products have proven to be outstanding with maximum performance at minimum dimensions. In the AMK-Solac solar thermal product series, the surface area of the absorber is larger than the gross surface area of the collector. This is intentional. By maximising the absorber surface area the optimised reflector guarantees the maximum absorption of direct and diffuse radiation making the solar panel extremely efficient.
AMK Sydney Style Evacuated Tube
All AMK solar heating collectors are equipped with evacuated tubes developed by AMK. AMK vacuum tubes have a nine-layer, highly selective coating, and vacuum loss is avoided completely due to the mechanical vacuum insulation.
